Sailing with Activity Holidays Greece

But, I've never sailed before?

Am I too young or too old? Too fat or too thin? Too tall or too short?

The simple answer is that people of all walks of life go on sailing holidays. We are there to show you how to do it and gain the most out of your experience while at the same time having fun learning something new, or just brushing up on a passion that you enjoy.

There are no hard and fast rules about coming on a sailing holiday and our teams are more than experienced to be able to take you to another level while maintaining your safety, fun and comfort. With many routes to choose from, there is always some self discovery while on this type of holiday.

In Greece, our different sailing holidays operate from the Hotel Armonia near Nidri on Lefkas - one of the Ionian Islands - where we have our own pontoon directly outside the hotel on which our yachts are moored.

For Two-Weeks commencing Sunday 29th August we can offer you a berth on a Flotilla Training/Pot-Luck Yacht for £895 per person (Shared-Cabin Basis) including Gatwick Flights and Airport Transfers in Greece - The Brochure Price is £1285pp! Just consider a ten-day course in the UK will cost you around £1,000, and we are giving you two-weeks in the sun including the flights!! Don't keep this to yourself - please pass it on!

Should there not be enough persons to fill a pot-luck yacht then these clients will be aboard one of our flotilla training yachts instead.

Please note that the following on-site cash payments apply:

There is an on-site cash payment of £70 per person for the Learn-to-Sail week (£110pp for two-weeks) to cover welcome starter pack; certification and log books; charter papers; all on-board expenses such as fuel, water, mooring charges; yacht damage waiver; end of charter yacht clean and bed-linen laundry. Students will put a kitty together to cover the cost of daily food for breakfast and/or lunch. This kitty - which shall also cover the instructor's portion - should normally cost about Euro 40 per person per week based on four students per yacht; depending on individuals' needs and requirements.

There is an on-site cash payment of £140 per yacht for a flotilla/bareboat week - £190 for two-weeks - to cover welcome starter pack, fuel; charter papers; end-of-charter yacht clean; bed-linen laundry and yacht damage waiver - please note that this is for damage and does not cover loss of large items such as dinghy/liferaft etc for which you are still liable and have to pay the replacement price before departure. For yachts over 40ft LOA these supplements increase by £50. Pot-Luck yachts will be charged £50 per person.

IONIAN REGATTA 2010

This is alwas held on the 3rd Thursday in September; therefore this year it falls on the 16th September. It is a 'fun' race ending in an 'all night' party in the port of Sivota, on Lefkas Island. This will entail flying out on Sunday 12th September for one or two weeks either on a training/pot-luck yacht or on a flotilla/bareboat charter. If you are competitive and interested, please contact me for a 'special' priced quote. For Example: One person flying from Gatwick for one week aboard a Flotilla Training Yacht (Shared-Cabin Basis) for the week commencing 12th September; the brochure price is £877pp + on-site payments as detailed above. Provided that this is booked directly with me the current price is £730pp + on-site payments.
